All bikes purchased through City Grounds MUST be assembled by a certified bike shop mechanic. If the bike is NOT built by a certified bike shop mechanic, any warranty will be VOID. We will request for an assembly receipt as proof of professional installation.
For all warranty claims, please contact our Warranty Team at warranty@citygrounds.com. So that we can help you in a timely manner, make sure to include the following:
- 1. Order Number (we will confirm date of purchase and determine if the item is still under the manufacturer’s warranty time limit)
- 2. Brief description of the claim
- 3. Photographs
- 4. If the item is a bike or frame, include the serial number
We evaluate all warranties case-by-case to determine the best course of action and get you serviced to the best of our ability!
Warranty does not apply to the following:
- • Any part of a product that has been installed, altered, repaired, or misused
- • Damage from unintended style of riding, abuse, neglect, accident, and racing
- • Normal wear and tear of any product (including but not limited to - saddles, grips, tires, tubes, cables, brake pads, chains)
- • Failure to provide regular maintenance of any product
Labor and shipping are the responsibility of the customer. We do not cover parts purchased and labor performed by another bike shop.

I started seeing electric bikes around my town about a year ago and didn't quite get the point. One night, after seeing a guy fly around a corner with a BIG smile on his face I thought I might do a bit of internet research. I am definitely not a mountain bike guy so I was not expecting to get "sold" on one of these because of the mountain bike style. Then I came across a 24" BMX style E-Bike and it had my full attention! I just couldn't get past the "banana seat" look on a few of them, so I told myself to pass. Disappointed I did a search of" BMX E-bike" and THERE IT WAS, The GT Power Performer!! I didn't even think twice and purchased it. WOW what a fun bike to ride!! I liked it so much I purchased a second one so I could have my wife or someone ride with me for extra fun. You can ride it as a normal bike or turn on an assist mode to take the edge off. Then If you just feel like taking a relaxing cruise you can use full electric mode which is a BLAST! If I have to run uptown for something I'll jump on this bike instead of my vehicle. Needless to say I give this bike 2 thumbs up! If you're teetering on this bike go ahead and pull the trigger, you won't regret it! City Grounds is a fantastic company and will take care on you.
The ebike I have been looking for!!
The fenders are ridiculous! They came off right away. This bike rocks! I am a big fan of BMX and big BMX. Once I saw this, I bought it right away. This is the perfect ebike for the BMX’er (especially one that is over 50!). It is REALLY heavy and that threw me at first but I am getting used to it. The motor is strong enough as I have been riding in power assist 1 or 2. Anything higher than that and I feel like I’m cheating. The battery will last about 50 miles (depending on power setting). The throttle is pretty cool as well! This bike really needs no custom work done to it. Bars are great, seat isn’t bad, and grey camo is really cool. Love all the old school touches on it. This is my first ebike and I love it. I can ride faster and farther. Even pedaling without power isn’t that bad as you have the 9 gears to help. The tires grip really well (but they are not scrubbed in yet). Very impressed with this!
