This past weekend a few of the City Grounds staff, team riders and friends headed up to San Francisco to take part in the 2nd annual Red Bull Ride & Style Event. Check out the video we put together highlighting some of the weekend including the Chrome pre-party, the ride & style event and much more. Great job to our team riders Justin "Congo" Mitchell, Matt Spencer & Corey San Agustin for representing City Grounds and the rest of the participants in pushing the sport of FGFS!
I was digging through some old photo files and completely forgot about these profile pictures Matt Lingo took over a year ago. I love Lingo's work!
Hand is finally healed enough to ride. Litte edit working on my sliders and riding at a local skate park.
Brad Parker from Fixed Love made a sick little edit last Thursday. Corey and brad were hitting ledges and rails and I finally 180'd a 7 stair. We also hit up Vans Skate Park which was one of the funnest places to ride! Tanner doing a pedal grind via Death Cookies. Another sick edit from Brad putting in work and getting his grinds down.
City Grounds rider Congo in the new Volume Thrasher ad shot by Matt Lingo. Call LBFG in Long Beach or CIty Grounds in Costa Mesa to get dibs on the new Thrasher frame coming out!
A short edit hitting up some old spots that I haven't rode in a long time.
The Wizard always has some insanely smooth tech tricks!
Here are some of the unused photos Matt Lingo took of Congo for a new Volume Thrasher ad. Congo has been killing it lately, and this tuck air really proves it! First seen at Heavy Pedal.
Here is the final Revoked trailer featuring Jakob Santos. After throwing away the first two versions of the movie, Chris Fonseca says that this is the one! DVDs are getting produced right now and should be shipped within 3 weeks! Pre-order yourself a copy.
City Grounds rider Marwin "The Wizard" Ou now rides for SE Bikes and recently did a photo shoot with them. Lovin' this picture! Can't beat a beautiful night in down town Long Beach. Check some more photos from the shoot at the SE Blog.
Here is an updated flyer for the upcoming 10th aniversery of BFF in New York. A few City Grounds riders will also be there in full effect! Prolly will be hosting the fixed events for this year. Ramps and boxes should make the bunny-hop and freestyle comp go off! Make sure to keep an eye out and hit up a city near you.
Here is a sneak peak at a little project the City Grounds riders are making.
