The Big Swell is a big deal. Designed and hand-built by Brooklyn’s own Lance Mercado of Squarebuilt, this limited edition e-mini bike can rip on the beach, in the snow, and out on the open road. Hurley’s powerhouse e-mini bike brings a whopping 1000 watts and 48 volt ride assist and throttle to the party. The 20-inch wheels and huge 4-inch tires offer a super stable, ultra- comfortable ride. This show-stopping, jaw-dropping machine delivers serious power to go the distance—fast—while being completely loaded.

What Is OCEV?

According to California Bill No. 1271 (SEC.2312.5(d)), certain vehicles are specifically excluded from being classified as electric bikes under this code. These vehicles are categorized as Out of Class Electric Vehicles (OCEVs) for the following reasons:

  1. Highspeed Potential: Vehicles with two or three wheels that are designed by the manufacturer to be modifiable for speeds greater than 20 miles per hour on motor power alone or exceeding 750 watts of power.
  2. Post Sale Modifications: Any vehicle that has been modified to attain speeds greater than 20 miles per hour on motor power alone or to exceed 750 watts of power.

These exclusions ensure that only properly classified e-bikes can be markets as such, maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance. Riders of OCEV's should be aware of the different legal requirements and responsibilities associated with these vehicles.

Additionally, OCEVs are designed to offer performance and features beyond what traditional e-bikes can provide. Always verify the intended use and ensure you are compliant with local and state regulations when operating an OCEV.

All bikes purchased through City Grounds MUST be assembled by a certified bike shop mechanic. If the bike is NOT built by a certified bike shop mechanic, any warranty will be VOID. We will request for an assembly receipt as proof of professional installation.

  • 1. Order Number (we will confirm date of purchase and determine if the item is still under the manufacturer’s warranty time limit)
  • 2. Brief description of the claim
  • 3. Photographs
  • 4. If the item is a bike or frame, include the serial number

We evaluate all warranties case-by-case to determine the best course of action and get you serviced to the best of our ability!

Warranty does not apply to the following:

  • • Any part of a product that has been installed, altered, repaired, or misused
  • • Damage from unintended style of riding, abuse, neglect, accident, and racing
  • • Normal wear and tear of any product (including but not limited to - saddles, grips, tires, tubes, cables, brake pads, chains)
  • • Failure to provide regular maintenance of any product

Labor and shipping are the responsibility of the customer. We do not cover parts purchased and labor performed by another bike shop.

Motorcycle light like old juiced scramblers missing

This specific ebike I can’t get enough of the look. It would be nice in the brown color like the mini swell 2 but else the frame is nice. I have over 7000 miles on this bike.

Cons:

1. location of kickstand needs to be pushed back near rear tire like others similar.

2. If you can’t fix the light design…don’t buy this bike. Nobody wants that lil light to be out front. Not a good light.

3. Full fender kit should be also be included with a juiced style motorcycle light and relocated kickstand will make this perfect. Add the 32mph-38mph upgrade or perhaps a 19ah battery with the second battery positioned in second battery location as shown can be placed on this bike and your golden. Else, bike just misses the goal of perfect combination
