Description
You definitely won’t get the blues while riding this blue beauty! Those color-matched blues put the DJ Ripper HD over the top this year. The frame is modeled after the legendary PK Ripper, featuring Floval tubing and a looptail rear end. And you can’t miss the tapered integrated head tube & super stiff bottom bracket yoke. The bike comes equipped with Manitou Circus Expert air compression forks that feature a 20mm thru-axle and an externally adjustable compression to lockout and rebound. For stopping power, the bike is equipped with Tektro hydraulic disc brakes. No doubt about it, the DJ Ripper HD is the most stylish and raddest dirt jumper in existence.

What Is OCEV?

According to California Bill No. 1271 (SEC.2312.5(d)), certain vehicles are specifically excluded from being classified as electric bikes under this code. These vehicles are categorized as Out of Class Electric Vehicles (OCEVs) for the following reasons:

  1. Highspeed Potential: Vehicles with two or three wheels that are designed by the manufacturer to be modifiable for speeds greater than 20 miles per hour on motor power alone or exceeding 750 watts of power.
  2. Post Sale Modifications: Any vehicle that has been modified to attain speeds greater than 20 miles per hour on motor power alone or to exceed 750 watts of power.

These exclusions ensure that only properly classified e-bikes can be markets as such, maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance. Riders of OCEV's should be aware of the different legal requirements and responsibilities associated with these vehicles.

Additionally, OCEVs are designed to offer performance and features beyond what traditional e-bikes can provide. Always verify the intended use and ensure you are compliant with local and state regulations when operating an OCEV.

All bikes purchased through City Grounds MUST be assembled by a certified bike shop mechanic. If the bike is NOT built by a certified bike shop mechanic, any warranty will be VOID. We will request for an assembly receipt as proof of professional installation.

Warranty does not apply to the following:

  • • Any part of a product that has been installed, altered, repaired, or misused
  • • Damage from unintended style of riding, abuse, neglect, accident, and racing
  • • Normal wear and tear of any product (including but not limited to - saddles, grips, tires, tubes, cables, brake pads, chains)
  • • Failure to provide regular maintenance of any product

Labor and shipping are the responsibility of the customer. We do not cover parts purchased and labor performed by another bike shop.

Nice bike

I'm 56 years old haven't ridden bicycles in over 30 years since my 20 inch. Bought this to see if i could still rip down at the pump track bike park. Within a few runs i was clearing some plateaus with a little style. But then it happened. Landed a little front wheel up on a steep backside of a jump, rode an unexpected wheelie without a brake tap that would've saved me, and looped it at the bottom and took some damage. Lesson learned, these bikes although they have large rims, they are short and compact, i thought there was enough bike behind me to land and have the front wheel come down. Didn't happen lol

With a little practice and getting the feel, i think I'll be really liking this bike

PAPA WHEELIE ⬆️ bike review 😉

Love this bike the best for wheelies, I have couple 29s , couple 27.5 and now a 26. Haven’t jump it yet really but me being 160 lbs , this bike wheelies very easy and manuals are a lot easier for me. Seems a little small for me at 5’11 to ride around town on to far,it is a dirt jumper. But super fun bike, a lot of compliments on the color blue. Also, like the easier gearing compared to the 29 and 27.5. I give it a HELL YA!! It’s fun to ride🤙keep the front wheel up!!! Yours truly, PAPA Wheelie😜56 years young. First ride on this bike.SE Bikes🙌 did take the seat off my flyer to use on this bike tho🫢👍
