Ready for a true throwback? How about City Grounds team riders Justin 'Congo' Mitchell and Matt 'Wolfdrawn' Spencer at the height of their fixie famous-ness in the 30 Seconds to Mars - Kings & Queens music video. If you're not a big fan of the music, you can skip ahead to see Matt at the 3:18 mark, or check out a closeup of Congo's mug at the 5:11 mark. Enjoy:
Congo is a true City Grounds original team rider, and has been riding for the shop since the very beginning. He consistently stands out at competitions not only for his riding skills, but also his fashion choices. The 2013 Red Bull Ride + Style was no exception; Congo showed up with a first generation Pro-Tec helmet (yep, the ones with ear flaps), old school shades and a bright orange Unknown fixed gear freestyle bike. He might not have won the competition, but at lease he competed with some style. Check it out in the photos below! [CLICK THE PHOTO BELOW...
Newly added to the Community section is a team rider page for Justin Congo Mitchell. Not only can you check out what he is currently riding but we also put together a small video edit too. Congo has been with City Grounds from the beginning and we are glad to have him as part of the team. Check out his page by clicking here or on any of the images below.
