This past weekend Ride4Water, an organization that promotes riding bikes to fund water projects, held the 3rd Annual Summer Solstice (200/100) ride. Starting at 4:30am in Ventura, CA riders made the trek down the coastline headed to Downtown San Diego finish line (raising over $3,000 for their efforts). The main man behind the popular Awarewolfs brand, Charlie, helped organize the event and hit us up about using City Grounds Long Beach as a checkpoint for the ride. We were more then happy to get involved and opened up a little early to let them tune up their rides and grab any last minute tools / essentials.
