Crew Dart20

The Crew Dart V3 20" brings all the upgrades of the 24" model into a tighter, more compact build. Same bike life energy. Just built for riders who want more control without giving up performance. Class 2 compliant for a safe and legal ride. With a top speed of 20mph and a range up to 20 miles using throttle, and 25–35 miles with pedal assist, the Dart 20 delivers the power and versatility you need to ride farther, cruise longer, and stay in control.

The compact 20" setup offers a lower standover and a more agile, easy-to-handle feel, making it perfect for tighter spots and technical riding. An upgraded chromoly steel frame with refined geometry delivers a stable, responsive ride, while the new bench-style saddle improves comfort and balance with a clean, locked-in feel for longer sessions.

A 750w rear hub motor paired with a 48v / 10Ah battery delivers smooth, punchy power, backed by hydraulic disc brakes for confident stopping control. Fat 20" x 4.0" Crew Takeover Tires add grip, shock absorption, and street-ready style—making the Dart V3 20" a powerful, approachable choice for everyday rides and full ride-outs. Recommended for riders 4'10"-5'10".

According to California Vehicle Code Section 312.5, a Class 2 electric bicycle is a low-speed throttle-assisted bicycle equipped with a motor that may propel the bicycle without pedaling but is not capable of providing motor assistance once the bicycle reaches 20 miles per hour. To qualify as an electric bicycle under California law, the motor must also have a maximum continuous rated power of no more than 750 watts.

This vehicle is categorized as a Class 2 electric bicycle for the following reasons:

  1. Throttle-Assisted Operation: The bicycle is equipped with a throttle that can propel the bicycle without the rider pedaling.
  2. 20 MPH Motor-Assistance Limit: Motor assistance is designed to stop providing propulsion once the bicycle reaches 20 miles per hour.
  3. 750-Watt Power Limit: The bicycle is equipped with an electric motor rated at no more than 750 watts.

These features allow the vehicle to be classified as a Class 2 electric bicycle rather than an off-highway electric vehicle, motorized bicycle, moped, or motorcycle, provided the bicycle remains in its original, compliant configuration.

Class 2 e-bikes are generally permitted anywhere conventional bicycles are allowed unless otherwise restricted by a local authority, property owner, park, trail system, or posted regulation. Riders are responsible for reviewing and following all applicable state and local laws before operating the bicycle.

Best Purchase for a 15 year old

This bike is so well made! Its sturdy and built with high end materials. My 15 year old is loving life! He is 5'7 and is learning to wheelie this thing! He loves the long seat and BMX style handle bars. Because it is a Pedal Assist, he can ride legally wherever bikes are allowed. So he can safely ride sidewalks when the roads get too busy with cars. I feel more comfortable with this one compared to the Dart24, because it goes 20 mph. Be sure you get a helmet rated for class 2. I have a happy kid, getting outside and having some independence getting himself to friends. This is a much better and safer option than the off-brand e bikes sold online, and better than the Surans. Happy Riding!!

New e-bike Dart20

My son loved his Dart20. He's 11 and it fits him really well. The bike is faster than I thought but I think you can throttle down the speed on an app. My oldest son is looking forward to the latest Dart release. He's excited about the suspension.

Great bike tons of speed

Bike is pretty awesome. We use it as a pit bike at the motocross tracks. Eco has enough power to move the bike with ease which definitely helps it last a full charge for the whole day with enough left for the kids to have fun also. My kids rode it on race mode for 3 hours before using up the battery. I'm tall so I should have gone with the 24" model but this one works great. I'm in no way disappointed.
