The Wolfpack Hustle Unified Title Series held its final race of the summer this past weekend on the 6th Street Bridge in Los Angeles, CA. With the LA cityscape as a scenic backdrop, hundreds of riders took over the bridge, lining up in pairs of two to battle for the coveted dog tags in the Midnight Drag Race. The event lasted long into the next morning with the aid of food trucks, plenty of Red Bull and DJ's keeping the party going. At the end, Long Beach local and close friend of the shop Edgar 'Willow' Juarez stood atop the podium alongside Jo Celso as the official champions of the Unified Title Series.
From humble beginnings as an illegal underground street race, Wolfpack Hustle events are now city sanctioned and brand sponsored events with hundreds and hundreds of participants and countless followers. City Grounds could not have been happier to be along for the ride as a sponsor throughout the summer which included the Marathon Crash and Civic Center Crit Races. A big thank you to the man, Don 'Roadblock' Ward, all of the volunteers, Aventon Bikes, Red Bull, Chrome and all of YOU who are helping to make these events bigger and better.
