Bianchi
Bianchi Nero Track Bike

-
At its heart, the bicycle is a simple machine. Efficient. Uncomplicated. Unchanged in basic shape and function since we first began making them in Milan Italy back in 1885.
We believe that traditional simplicity and straightforward functionality should still exist as an option for today’s budget-minded rider. But one shouldn’t have to sacrifice build quality or stunning good looks just to save a little money…
The Nero is an elegantly-classic steel-tubed bike with a simple single-speed drivetrain. Its understated livery will turn the heads of discerning riders or your mates at the coffee shop.
The handling of the Nero will keep you grinning due in part to its pedigree as a velodrome racer. Quick handling frame geometry, deep dish 40mm rims, and a riser handlebar beg to make quick work of your commute home or the dash to the burrito truck on Tuesday nights. -

Great experience
Speed i am speed!!!
Hands down this is the fastest bike i have ever had the pleasure of owning. its so light so comfortable and i just cant say enough about how fast it is, the breaking system is second to none. i was sold on disk breaks until now. again its all about those pros and cons , the biggest con is i now have no friends that will bike with me. they'll get over it!!!
beyond PLEASED
I've been riding a mountain bike for the last few years, and what a change of pace - I really missed riding a single speed. I will say I am absolutely not a bike aficionado - I am just a gal looking to ride around. I did some research and ended up grabbing this bike vs. a fixie. I rode it today for 5+ miles and it felt great, it rode so smoothly. My uncle used to work in a bike shop for decades (and has been a dedicated rider since the 70s), and I brought it to him for assembly and he was quite impressed with my purchase, lol. I can't give any expert tech spec criticisms or opinions, but as I said, he approved and test rode it and approved as well.
I made a couple of small mods and the only thing I really have to "complain" about was that I did add a riser on the handlebar. I don't love leaning forward that much, but it's just a preference.
Lastly, I must say - this bike is honestly gorgeous. I just really wanted to grab a new black bike and didn't really put a lot of visual effort into researching. The matte finish looks so good and the saddle with the rivets I received was SO RAD. There is only one image for this bike, and it doesn't do it justice.
Thanks for my first City Grounds experience, I'll be back! :)
