The City Grounds team headed out this past weekend to Interbike in Las Vegas, the largest cycling tradeshow in the United States. The Wolfpack Hustle Unified Title Series held its final race of the summer this past weekend on the 6th Street Bridge in Los Angeles, CA. With the LA cityscape as a scenic backdrop, hundreds of riders took over the bridge, lining up in pairs of two to battle for the coveted dog tags in the Midnight Drag Race. The event lasted long into the next morning with the aid of food trucks, plenty of Red Bull and DJ's keeping the party going. As the freestyle competitors hit the freshly painted course features, the judges knew they were in for a tough decision. Last year’s winner, Josh Boothby, was looking to land the first ever in-competition flare, a full 180 degree backflip, while riders like 2011 winner Matt Reyes were cruising the course with an uncanny consistency. The 2013 Red Bull Ride + Style event was held this past weekend in San Francisco on Saturday, May 4th. A crowd of over 5,000 people showed up to watch and cheer on a solid group of track and fixed gear freestyle riders throughout the day. Meet Edwin Moreno, he works in our warehouse and you might see him at our shops every now and then delivering bikes and other goods to keep the shelves stocked. The results are in, congratulations to all of the winners and participants in the 2013 Wolfpack Hustle Marathon Crash race! We couldn't have been more excited about being part of such a great event.
